Previously, we've produced and promoted writers' sitcoms. It's been great and we loved it!

But the world has changed and while it might not be completely on fire, it's certainly getting crispy around the edges.

So we want to change too.

Comedy Pilot will now present a weekly, satirical, spoofy news show called The United State of News to reflect what is going on in the US and the rest of the world.

We're looking for short, punchy, gag-driven monologues and a few catchy headlines.

Take a listen to what we've done so far for a better idea of where we are heading.

We don't care if you're left, right or somewhere in the middle. We just want you to be factually correct, funny and not a dick.

Just to be clear - the money is ludicrously low, (£20 per monologue, £30 per recording), but if current affairs have you screaming into your pillow, why not scream into us instead?
